Let's Go Racing!

Ever wonder where racecar drivers learned to draft or how a simple coat of paint can actually help a car travel faster? Or that racecars actually race on the same streets that you drive on every day?

Kellogg is partnering with Sprint Cup driver Carl Edwards, 3-Time IndyCar Champion Dario Franchitti and racing legend Darrell Waltrip to take you under the hood to talk about the history of racing and breakdown the mechanics of the sport. As a brash rookie, Darrell Waltrip rolled into Talladega in 1972 and led laps in his very first race. The proud Kentucky driver served notice that he was going to be a force to be reckoned with. Over the next 29 years of racing, Waltrip etched his name in the record books while sporting the colors of some of the country's most prestigious companies.

By the time he retired from racing at the end of the 2000 season, Waltrip had amassed 84 wins, 59 poles, and was named driver of the decade (1980s) and honored with the 2000 Bill France Award of Excellence.

Today, he is still one of the sport's most dynamic personalities whether he's in the broadcast booth or meeting up with the fans on race days.
